The year was 1976 and she was an international star when she scored her first perfect 10 on an asymmetrical bar in the Montreal Olympic Games. Then she scored another perfect 10 making her the youngest Olympic All-around gold medallist aged just 14. While Nadia Comaneci did attracted attention from every angle and help Romania get its place on the map of the world. She gained international fame when she posted a score that was impossible to beat. The legend she created was legendary and helped to popularize gymnastics across the world. This changed the perception of female gymnasts. The impact she had was such that she earned her the title of Olympic toe on and release movements. These are still rated high in difficulty.
