Bonnie Schneider, a weather expert who is on CNN and HLN's various platforms. Her television show, LAST HOUSE REMAINING on DIY NETWORK premiered on March 30 2012. The show also has her as an on-camera meteorologist as well as co-executive director. Bonnie's first book is EXTREME WEATHER published Palgrave Macmillan on January 31, 2012. Her website promoting her multi-city book tour beginning Feburary 1, 2012 in Boston, media appearances and video chat is BonnieWeather.com [[1]] In August, 2011 during coverage of Hurricane Irene, Schneider's book was featured on HLN's popular prime time show, Special Report with Vinnie Politan Prior her work on CNN that began in the summer of 2005, Schneider has also been the Weekend Meteorologist/Special Assignment Reporter for "The Ten O'Clock News" on WLVI-TV WB56 in Boston. While in Boston she also offered entertainment and lifestyle reporting as the special assignment reporter three days a week. Prior to joining WB56, she was employed as the weekend forecaster for WFOR-TV Miami. She's held a variety of meteorology and reporting positions including: News 12 Long Island that is a 24-hour cable news television network, as well as WXII-TV which is the NBC affiliate located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. In New York City, she served as a weatherman fill-in for The Saturday Early Show for CBS.
