Kellie Martin (born Kellie Marien) is well-known American actress. She has starred in numerous TV series, including "Christy" which is a drama about a young woman called Christy Huddleston. Additionally, she's known as the star of her own Hailey Dean Mystery television series. Martin's acting career began when she was just seven when her aunt, the former nanny who took care for the children of Michael Landon, helped secure a spot as a special guest in 1982's 'Father Murphy.' After graduating of Yale University, she took acting more seriously, and eventually landed important roles on the smaller and big screen. Martin is, in addition to acting, she is also a talented photographer and dancer. The mother of two daughters and a son, she is also the Lupus ambassador and has been spreading awareness of the disease every day since the death of her sister when she was the age of 19.
